Breaks and Lunch

Class periods are approximately one hour with a passing period following each class for restroom use and other non-classroom activities. Students must be under the supervision of an adult at all times and it is the student's responsibility to be in an area that is appropriately supervised. Students are not allowed to roam the site.

Students staying on site through the scheduled lunchtime* should bring a lunch. All food and drinks must be consumed in designated areas and proper respect for facilities must be maintained. Please be aware that kitchen facilities are not available to students.

*Students must remain on site during lunchtime and breaks, unless they leave with one of their parents, or if they are able to leave in their own vehicle.

Study Hall

Study hall provides a quiet place, supervised by an adult, for students to complete school work during STAR hours when not attending class. Unless supervised by their parent, instructor, or site administrator, the student must be in study hall. Students must adhere to the conduct guidelines in the Student Consent to Policy. Parents of students participating in study hall should make sure their students have enough quiet work to keep them occupied during the hours they attend. There is a nominal fee of $2.00 for every class period that a student is in study hall. (Note: School-age children whose parents are serving at the site may be in study hall at no charge).
