Committed to diversity within the major, Biola University's Journalism Department is dedicated to helping students from a variety of cultural and economic backgrounds thrive in the world of journalism.

Experience Journalism provides prospective students with an opportunity to learn more about Biola's Journalism department and experience it in person. Now, part of Biola's University Day, this year's event offers more than ever before. Come and discover where Biola Journalism will take you!

Event Details

When: November 10-12, 2012

Where: Biola University Campus

Who: High school juniors and seniors and community college students


OPTION 1: Saturday through Monday Track (includes University Day)

Saturday, November 10 through Monday, November 12

Get the full experience by attending the Experience Journalism event along with University Day.

Details:

  • Attend faculty-led sessions
  • Interact with current Journalism students
  • Compete in an on-site Journalism contest
  • Attend chapel
  • Spend a night in a dorm
  • Visit an actual class session
  • Speak with an Admissions Counselor
  • Tour campus
  • Interact with current Biola students

Cost: $60 (includes meals and accommodations)


OPTION 2: Saturday Only Track

Saturday, November 10
8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Can't attend the whole weekend? There's still plenty for you to experience at the Saturday event!
