LA Kings Faith and Family Night!
LA Kings Faith and Family Night sponsored by The Fish Christian radio station included a battle of the bands with three Biola student bands.
On Saturday November 1, Biola Youth participated in the LA Kings Faith and Family Night, at the Staples Center in downtown LA, sponsored by The Fish 95.9FM. The Fish DJ's Big Wave Dave and Lara Scott emceed the event, a pre-game battle of the bands featuring Nexus, The Fragrance, and Alabaster, three of Biola University's worship bands and a concert by Christian music artist, Brandon Heath. Approximately 750 people attended the pre-game events, most of whom were connected to Biola.
Biola Youth also set up and staffed a table promoting Biola University and Biola Youth to the concert and hockey game patrons. The event was such a success that Biola Youth was asked to participate in and promote an upcoming Faith and Family Night.
