Biola Youth Theatre's 13th Birthday Bash
BYT celebrates 13 years of life change through quality theatre
On November 20, 2009, hundreds gathered together to celebrate as Biola Youth Theatre became a teenager. Returning to their BYT "roots," 22 alumni joined 39 current BYT students to perform some of the most memorable songs from past productions on a stage clad with an assortment of props from all the timeless shows of the past 13 years.
Classic video clips and photos were shown on the screen while past and current students--and even the BYT staff--sang and danced to the delight of nearly 350 audience members. The evening concluded as a festive birthday cake with 13 candles was brought on stage to the chorus of "Happy Birthday," sung by all in attendance.
