Loosely based on the biblical story of Joseph, Andrew Lloyd Weber’s musical, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, traces the journey of a man from favorite son to rejected slave, from the dungeon to the palace of Pharaoh of Egypt. Sold by his brothers into slavery because of his prophetic dreams and his colorful coat of honor, Joseph leaves the comfort of home and humbly climbs the ranks of servitude in a foreign land. As time passes, he is reunited with his family and returns honor for shame, acceptance for rejection. A plethora of light-hearted songs makes this interpretation of the story of Joseph one you will surely not want to miss.
