Attention: Some of the work dates have changed.

Parent participation is necessary and is required for BYT productions.

Each family is required to help with:

• Two full Saturday workdays:
  • Sets are constructed and costumes are crafted.
  • Supervisory help is needed with the ensemble.
  • Tentative Saturday dates are 10/17, 10/24, 11/21, 12/5.
• One day of load-in:
  • Sets and props are move in and costume rooms are set-up.
  • Load in begins on 12/19.
• Three Shows
• One strike day:
  • Auditorium and costume rooms are returned to their original state.
  • Strike happens on 1/23 after the show and on 1/24 from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m.

All Family Parent Meeting Dates:

• Monday, September 14, from 6:30 p.m. - 8 p.m.
  Sutherland Auditorium at Biola University
• Saturday, October 24, after the all-cast rehearsal
  (ticket and costume information discussed)
• Saturday, December 5, after the all-cast rehearsal
  (working shows and production information discussed)

Won't be able to volunteer?

Should a parent be unable to volunteer in the above capacity, a $300 non-participation fee (per family) is added to their account and must be paid by October 5. If paid after this date, the fee increases to $350. The non-participation fee option is not available if this is your first show with BYT.
