The Story
Maria, an aspiring nun, prone to trouble with her free spirit, is sent to the house of Captain Georg Ritter von Trapp to be the governess of seven children. Disapproving of the Captain’s stern rules, Maria seeks to bring tenderness and joy to the initially mischievous children through song and adventure. However, as she and the children grow closer, Maria and the Captain, who is engaged to Baroness Elsa Schrader, find themselves falling in love. With conflict, laughter, song and dance, this production is sure to entertain!
